Description

The Noctis is a 2-light wall fitting built around a cylindrical polished chrome body measuring 80mm across, projecting 180mm from the wall. Two GU10 spotlight fittings at the top and bottom of the cylinder angle independently, allowing light to be directed up onto a ceiling, down onto a floor, or both outward to frame a doorway or artwork.

Designed for corridors, reading positions beside beds or sofas, and as accent lighting for artwork or architectural features, the Noctis provides directed task light rather than ambient wash. The twin adjustable heads allow asymmetric lighting arrangements — one head angled up, one down, or both angled outward to create a spread of light across a wall. The fitting works as a single installation or in pairs to flank a mirror, doorway or bed headboard.

The polished chrome finish reflects surrounding light and pairs with cool-toned interiors, stainless steel appliances and other chrome or brushed metal fixtures. The 180mm projection from the wall means the fitting stands clear of typical skirting boards and provides enough throw distance for the GU10 bulbs to cast defined pools of light rather than broad wash. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor areas — hallways, living rooms, bedrooms and similar spaces where moisture is not a concern.

The Noctis takes two GU10 spotlight bulbs, sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED GU10s between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K for reading or accent lighting, or cooler 4000K bulbs for task lighting in hallways.

Can the light heads be adjusted once fitted?

Yes. Both GU10 fittings angle independently, allowing you to direct one head up and one down, or both outward to create a spread of light across a wall or to flank a doorway or artwork.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when paired with dimmable GU10 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. The fitting itself supports dimming but the bulbs must also be marked as dimmable.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is only suitable for dry indoor areas such as hallways, living rooms and bedrooms. It cannot be used in bathrooms or other moisture-prone zones.
