Description

The Noctis is a 60mm diameter polished chrome cylinder pendant with a clear glass diffuser at the base and a single GU10 downlight fitting inside. The chrome outer shell reflects surrounding light when unlit and creates a directional beam when the bulb is switched on, with the glass diffuser softening the downward throw. The 2000mm fabric cable adjusts during installation to suit ceiling heights from 2.4m to 3.5m.

Designed for accent and task lighting rather than ambient, the Noctis works as a single spotlight over a worktop or sink, or in multiples over kitchen islands and dining tables where directed light is needed on specific zones. The 60mm outer diameter and 400mm total height when fully extended keep the visual footprint small, making it suitable for lower ceilings or narrow spaces where larger pendants would overpower the room. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor areas only.

The polished chrome finish on the cylinder body produces strong reflections under natural daylight and pairs cleanly with stainless steel appliances, brushed nickel taps and contemporary kitchens using greys, whites or glass surfaces. The GU10 fitting accepts any standard GU10 LED or halogen bulb up to 50W (sold separately), and the pendant is dimmable when paired with a compatible GU10 dimmable bulb and dimmer switch. The glass diffuser at the base hides the bulb interior and prevents direct glare when the pendant is viewed from below.

The pendant takes a standard GU10 bulb up to 50W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED GU10 between 4-7W and 2700K-3000K for kitchen or dining use.

Yes, the pendant is dimmable when fitted with a dimmable GU10 bulb and connected to a compatible dimmer switch. Standard non-dimmable GU10 bulbs will not dim and may flicker or fail if used with a dimmer.

How low does it hang when fully extended?

The total height from ceiling rose to the base of the glass diffuser is 400mm when the cable is at its shortest setting. The 2000mm cable allows the pendant to drop much lower if needed, but most installations over worktops or tables position it 600-900mm below the ceiling.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the Noctis is only suitable for dry indoor areas with no direct water contact or high humidity. For bathroom use, an IP44-rated or higher pendant is required.
