Description

The Noctis is a 60mm diameter copper cylinder pendant with a single GU10 downlight fitting and a 2m adjustable black fabric cable. The metal shade is finished in a warm copper tone with a polished surface that reflects ambient light when not lit and develops subtle tonal shifts under artificial lighting. The 400mm height projects the light source down from the ceiling rose, making it suited to counter-height installations where directed task light is needed.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables, bar counters and bedside pendants where focused downlight is required without a large shade footprint, the Noctis works as a single accent piece or in multiples spaced 300-600mm apart along a worktop or island run. The 2m cable can be shortened during installation to match ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3.2m, with the pendant typically hung 600-800mm above a worktop or 700-900mm above a dining surface. The compact 60mm diameter means three or five pendants can be arranged over a 2m island without visual clutter.

The copper finish pairs with warm-toned timbers, brass hardware and terracotta or earth-tone interiors, as well as providing a metallic accent against cooler greys, whites and concrete surfaces. The GU10 fitting accepts any standard GU10 LED or halogen bulb up to 50W (sold separately), and the pendant is dimmable when paired with a compatible GU10 LED bulb and trailing-edge dimmer. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor locations away from direct moisture.

Is the Noctis dimmable?

Yes, when paired with a dimmable GU10 LED bulb and a compatible trailing-edge dimmer switch. Halogen GU10 bulbs are also dimmable on most standard dimmers. The pendant fitting itself does not restrict dimming.

What bulb does it take?

The Noctis takes a standard GU10 bulb up to 50W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most installations use a 5-7W GU10 LED at 2700K-3000K for warm task lighting over kitchen worktops or dining tables.

Can the cable length be adjusted?

Yes. The 2m fabric cable can be shortened during installation by looping the excess inside the ceiling rose. This allows the pendant to be set at the appropriate height above a worktop or table depending on your ceiling height.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the Noctis is designed for dry indoor locations only. It is not rated for bathroom zones where moisture or direct water contact is present.
