The Niseko is a 900mm diameter LED ring flush ceiling light with an integrated 78W LED array behind a white acrylic diffuser. The fitting sits 95mm below the ceiling and casts 6200 lumens of 3000K warm white light across a 110° beam angle, making it suitable for general ambient lighting in living rooms, open-plan kitchens and bedrooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher.

The ring form creates a halo of light around a central white disc, giving the ceiling a layered appearance when viewed from below. The 110° beam angle spreads light evenly across a typical 4m x 4m room without creating strong shadows in the corners or bright hotspots directly beneath the fitting. The 3000K colour temperature provides warm white light that sits between traditional incandescent warmth and the cooler tones of daylight-balanced LEDs.

The white powder-coated metal housing weighs 7.2kg and mounts directly to a standard UK ceiling rose or joist-mounted back plate using the fixings supplied. At 95mm projection from the ceiling, the Niseko suits rooms where a semi-recessed or recessed downlight would require cutting into the ceiling structure, but a pendant drop would interfere with headroom. The 78W power draw delivers high lumen output while remaining lower than equivalent halogen or incandescent fittings would require for the same brightness.

The Niseko is not dimmable and operates on 220-240V mains without requiring an external driver or transformer. The fitting is rated for indoor dry-location use and carries a 3-year warranty from Mantra. Is the Niseko dimmable?

No. The integrated LED operates at fixed brightness on 220-240V mains and is not compatible with dimmer switches.

The 6200lm output and 110° beam angle provide general ambient lighting for rooms up to approximately 16-18m² (4m x 4m). Larger rooms may benefit from pairing two fittings or adding supplementary task lighting.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 95mm projection from the ceiling works in rooms with standard 2.4m ceiling heights. Lower ceilings can still accommodate the fitting, though the visual proportion may feel heavier in rooms below 2.3m.

How is it fitted?
