Description
The New Harbor is a 457mm semi-flush ceiling light built around two concentric metal rings finished in western bronze, with four E27 bulb holders positioned horizontally between the rings. The open cage structure allows the bulbs themselves to become the decorative element, making the fitting well-suited to exposed-filament LED or vintage-style Edison bulbs that show their internals clearly when lit.
Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4-2.7m where a chandelier or long-drop pendant would sit too low, the New Harbor provides four-point overhead lighting from a fitting that projects only 267mm from the ceiling. The semi-flush format suits hallways, bedroom centres, dining rooms in flats with lower ceilings, and kitchen zones where headroom is at a premium. The four bulbs are positioned in a square pattern within the circular frame, giving even light distribution across a 3-4m diameter area.
The western bronze finish is a dark brown-bronze tone with subtle copper undertones, warmer than graphite black but cooler than antique brass. The metal rings are welded rather than bolted, so there are no visible fixings interrupting the circular geometry. Each E27 socket accepts bulbs up to 60W (LED, halogen or filament), giving flexibility to choose the colour temperature and brightness that suits the room. The fitting weighs approximately 2kg and fixes to a standard UK ceiling rose with a central backplate that sits flush to the plaster.

Frequently Asked
Does it come with bulbs?
No. The fitting takes four E27 bulbs up to 60W each, sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED filament bulbs between 4-8W and 2200K-2700K to show off the exposed cage structure.
What ceiling height is needed?
The 267mm projection from the ceiling works best in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. In lower ceilings the fitting can still be used but will sit closer to head height in circulation zones.
Is it dimmable?
Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs you choose. The fitting itself has no electronics that would prevent dimming, so if you use dimmable LED bulbs with a compatible dimmer switch, the light level can be controlled.
What's the difference between semi-flush and flush?
A flush fitting sits directly against the ceiling with minimal or no projection. A semi-flush (like the New Harbor) drops 200-300mm from the ceiling, giving more visual presence and allowing the bulbs to cast light in multiple directions rather than just downwards.
