Description

The Nemo S is a 97cm ceiling fan light combining a three-blade fan with an integrated tuneable-white LED light source, controlled via remote. The compact cylindrical motor housing sits flush to the ceiling (250mm total height including blade clearance), with three curved white blades rotating around a central frosted diffuser that houses the 54W LED light. The remote allows independent control of fan speed (typically three forward speeds plus reverse) and light output, with the LED adjustable from 2700K warm white to 5000K daylight white across a 3200-lumen output range.

Designed for bedrooms, living rooms and home offices with ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards, the Nemo S suits rooms of 12-18m² where both air circulation and overhead lighting are needed but ceiling space is limited. The flush-mount design works in rooms where a drop-rod fan would intrude, and the white finish pairs with minimalist, Scandi and contemporary interiors where the fan needs to recede rather than dominate. The tuneable colour temperature allows the light to shift from warm ambient (2700K) for evenings to cooler task lighting (4000K-5000K) for daytime work or reading.

The motor runs on a DC brushless design, which reduces operating noise compared to traditional AC ceiling fans and improves energy efficiency. At low speed the fan is near-silent; at medium and high speeds the aerodynamic blade profile minimises turbulence and the characteristic 'whoosh' of older fan designs. The matte white powder-coated finish on both the motor housing and blades resists yellowing and fingerprints, and the 3kg total weight allows installation onto standard UK ceiling fixings with appropriate reinforcement for plasterboard ceilings.

Can the colour temperature be adjusted?

Yes. The integrated LED is tuneable from 2700K warm white through to 5000K daylight white using the remote control. This allows the light to be set to warm ambient tones for evenings or cooler task-lighting tones for daytime use.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 250mm total height from ceiling to blade tip suits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. In rooms with 2.4m ceilings the blade clearance leaves approximately 2.15m headroom beneath the fan, which is acceptable for most UK residential spaces.

Is the fan suitable for year-round use?

Yes. The fan typically offers reversible rotation. Forward rotation (anticlockwise when viewed from below) pushes air downwards for cooling in summer, while reverse rotation (clockwise) pulls air upwards to redistribute warm air trapped near the ceiling in winter.

How is the remote powered?

Ceiling fan remotes typically use standard AAA or CR2032 batteries (check the packaging on arrival). The receiver unit for the remote is housed inside the motor canopy and wired into the mains circuit during installation.
