Description

The Nemo S is a 97cm three-blade ceiling fan light with a matt black motor housing and wood-finish blades, combining airflow and lighting in a single low-profile fitting. The integrated 54W LED sits behind an opal glass diffuser at the centre of the fan, providing 3200 lumens of tuneable white light adjustable from warm 2700K to cool 5000K via the included remote control. The 250mm total drop from ceiling to base of the light diffuser suits standard UK ceiling heights of 2.4m and above.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and open-plan kitchen-dining spaces where both air circulation and overhead lighting are needed, the fan operates quietly enough for bedroom use while delivering sufficient airflow for rooms up to approximately 20m². The remote control allows independent adjustment of fan speed (typically three or more settings) and LED brightness and colour temperature, so you can increase airflow without changing the light level, or dim the light while maintaining fan speed.

The three wood-finish blades measure approximately 32cm each from hub to tip, creating the 97cm swept diameter. The blades are ABS or composite with a printed wood-grain finish rather than solid timber, keeping the overall weight to 3kg and reducing the load on the ceiling mounting point. The matt black motor housing contrasts with the lighter wood tone of the blades, giving the fitting definition when viewed from below. Can the fan and light be controlled separately?

Yes. The included remote control allows independent adjustment of fan speed and LED brightness and colour temperature, so you can run the fan without the light, or adjust the light level without changing the fan speed.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 250mm total drop suits ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. In rooms with lower ceilings the fan may feel close to head height when standing, though it remains safe when correctly installed. Minimum clearance from the lowest point of the blades to the floor should be at least 2.3m.

Is the wood finish real timber?

No. The blades are ABS or composite material with a printed wood-grain finish. This keeps the overall weight to 3kg and provides a consistent appearance across all three blades without the maintenance requirements of solid timber.

How is it installed?

The fan mounts to a standard UK ceiling rose or joist-fixed bracket rated to support at least 10kg. Both live and neutral connections are required for the dual motor and LED function. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician familiar with ceiling fan wiring.
