Description
The Nebula is a 500mm diameter crystal suspension light with nine G9 bulbs housed behind a polished chrome frame. A band of square-cut crystal elements wraps the outer edge of the fitting, refracting light through each individual crystal piece when the bulbs are lit. The bottom diffuser is sandblasted glass, which softens the downward light and prevents glare from the nine exposed bulb positions.
Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living spaces with ceiling heights above 2.4m, the Nebula provides both ambient and decorative light. The 125mm body height keeps the fitting compact enough for standard residential ceilings while the 500mm diameter gives presence over a dining table or in the centre of a 4m x 4m room. The suspension cables are adjustable on installation, allowing the drop to be set based on the specific ceiling height and table position.
The chrome finish on the frame and ceiling rose provides a highly reflective surface that multiplies the light from the nine G9 bulbs, while the square-cut crystals arranged in a continuous band around the edge add prismatic detail. The sandblasted glass diffuser underneath the crystals distributes the light evenly downwards and prevents direct view of the bulb filaments or LEDs, making the fitting comfortable to sit beneath during meals or conversations.
From Ideal Lux, an Italian manufacturer specialising in contemporary and decorative residential lighting. The Nebula carries a 5-year warranty and an IP20 rating for indoor use only.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Nebula take?
The fitting takes nine G9 capsule bulbs (sold separately). G9 LED bulbs between 2-5W and 2700K-3000K are recommended for residential use. The fitting is dimmable when paired with dimmable G9 LEDs and a compatible dimmer.
What room size does it suit?
The 500mm diameter and nine-bulb configuration suit dining rooms, entrance halls and living spaces between 12-20m². For smaller rooms under 10m² the fitting may dominate; for rooms above 25m² consider pairing with additional wall or floor lighting.
Can the drop height be adjusted?
Yes. The suspension cables are adjustable during installation, allowing the fitting to be positioned at the required height above a table or floor level. A typical dining table installation sets the bottom of the fitting 700-800mm above the table surface.
Is it suitable for bathrooms?
No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is not protected against moisture ingress and must be used in dry indoor environments only. Do not install in bathrooms, wet rooms, covered outdoor areas or unheated spaces prone to condensation.
