The Mural is a 700mm tall LED table lamp built around two nested rectangular frames in matt black metal, with integrated warm white LED strips running along the inside edges of each frame. The dual-frame construction creates a layered geometric structure where the smaller inner frame sits offset within the larger outer frame, mounted on a rectangular black base. The integrated 18W LED system delivers 1380lm at 3000K through a 60° beam angle, with the light directed both forwards and backwards through the open frames.

Designed for console tables, sideboards, and desks in contemporary living rooms, hallways and home offices, the Mural acts as both a task light and an architectural accent. The 145mm width and 75mm depth make it narrow enough to sit on a hallway console or the corner of a desk without dominating the surface, while the 700mm height brings the light source up to a useful working level. The open-frame design allows the lamp to be viewed from multiple angles without blocking sightlines across a room.

The matt black powder-coated finish absorbs ambient light during the day, giving the lamp a strong sculptural presence even when switched off. When lit, the LED strips create lines of warm light running along the frame edges, producing a halo effect against the wall behind and casting soft ambient illumination across nearby surfaces. Is the Mural dimmable?

No. The integrated LED system operates at a fixed output of 18W and 1380lm. It cannot be dimmed using standard UK dimmer switches.

How is the lamp powered?

The Mural plugs into a standard 230V UK mains socket. The cable exits from the base and runs to a 3-pin plug. Cable length details are available directly if required before purchase.

What surface space does it need?

The rectangular base measures 145mm x 75mm, requiring a clear footprint slightly larger to accommodate the cable exit. The lamp works on narrow console tables, sideboards and desk corners without taking significant surface area.

Can it sit against a wall?

Yes. The 75mm depth allows the lamp to sit close to a wall, and the open-frame design creates a halo effect against the wall surface when lit. Position it 50-100mm from the wall to maximise this effect.
