Description

The Memory is a single-light hourglass pendant combining a matt black metal frame with two glass capsules — one glossy black cylinder above, one frosted white below — separated by a narrow metal band. A single E14 bulb sits within the white glass at the bottom, and light passes through the frosted glass to provide ambient illumination while the black upper capsule remains opaque.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and entrance halls where a compact pendant provides focused downlight without blocking sightlines, the Memory measures just 8cm in diameter and can be suspended anywhere from 44.5cm to 232cm depending on ceiling height and the intended drop above a surface. The slender profile suits corridors and small dining areas where larger pendants would dominate the space.

The black metal frame is finished in a low-sheen powder coat, and the dual-tone glass pairing creates visual contrast without relying on bright metallic finishes. The Memory takes a single E14 small Edison screw bulb up to 40W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a 4-6W E14 LED in warm white (2700K-3000K) for dining and hallway applications.

Can the drop height be adjusted after installation?

Yes. The cable suspension allows the drop to be set anywhere between 44.5cm and 232cm during installation. The cable can be shortened or lengthened by an electrician if you need to adjust the height after initial fitting.

Is the white glass completely opaque or translucent?

The white glass is frosted but translucent, allowing light from the E14 bulb to pass through and diffuse outward. The black upper capsule is opaque and does not emit light.

What ceiling rose does it fit?

The pendant fits a standard UK ceiling rose with a 100mm diameter cover plate. The black metal canopy at the top of the pendant conceals the ceiling rose and cable entry point.
