Description

The Marmo is a 44cm table lamp built around a vertical oval panel of natural stone set within a brushed gold metal frame, topped with a 28cm white fabric drum shade. A brass cylinder connects the stone panel to the base, with the E27 bulb fitting housed inside the shade. The stone panel shows natural veining and tonal variation in cream, beige and soft ochre tones.

Designed for bedside tables, console surfaces and side tables in living rooms or hallways, the Marmo pairs task and ambient lighting with a sculptural presence. The 28cm diameter shade diffuses light both upwards and downwards, casting warm light across the stone panel and illuminating the metal frame from within. The gold finish on the metal frame and base is brushed rather than mirror-polished, reducing glare under daylight and matching the warmer tones in the stone.

Each stone panel is cut from natural material, so the exact patterning, veining and colour distribution vary between individual lamps. The metal frame around the stone has two decorative brass studs on the visible face, which sit flush with the surface.
