Description

A single matt black painted lampholder on a length of black fabric flex gives this pendant its pared-back, industrial look, letting the lamp itself take centre stage. It is simple in construction, with a 1.5 metre black fabric flex that adjusts the drop from 220mm to 1620mm, and a compact 100mm fitting that keeps the focus on the bulb. The single E27 lampholder takes a lamp up to 60W, and the fitting is dimmable and made for LED lamps. At just 0.3kg it is light and easy to hang, singly or in a group.

The urban, stripped-back styling of the Marlowe suits kitchens, breakfast bars and open-plan living areas, and it looks its best paired with an exposed filament LED lamp for that on-trend look. Because it is a single, lightweight pendant, it is easy to hang two or three in a row over a worktop or island, or to use one on its own above a bedside or reading spot. It works with your choice of shade too, so you can keep it bare or dress it up.

The metalwork is matt black painted, hung on a black fabric flex that adjusts to your ceiling at the time of fitting. Being dimmable, the light can be softened with a compatible dimmer switch. It is a Class 2 double insulated fitting, so no earth connection is required, though a qualified electrician should still install it, and the IP20 rating keeps it to dry indoor rooms. To keep the matt black looking sharp, switch off and wipe with a soft, dry cloth, avoiding damp wipes that could mark the paint.
