Description

This matt black pendant cable set gives you the hanging part of a pendant ready to take a shade of your choice, with a black E27 lampholder fitted with a shade ring. It keeps the designer industrial look simple, with a 1.5 metre black fabric flex that sets the drop from 220mm to 1570mm and a compact 100mm fitting. The single E27 lampholder takes a lamp up to 40W, and the set is dimmable and made for LED lamps. At 0.3kg it is light and quick to hang on its own or in a group.

The stripped-back styling of the Marlowe cable set suits kitchens, breakfast bars and open-plan rooms, and is designed to pair with our Mono shade or another pendant shade to build the fitting you want. Because it is a bare cable set, it is easy to hang several in a row over an island or worktop, mixing and matching shades along the run. It also looks good used bare with an exposed filament LED lamp for a clean, industrial finish.

The metalwork is matt black painted, with a black E27 lampholder and shade ring on a 1.5 metre black fabric flex. Being dimmable, the light can be softened with a compatible dimmer switch. As a Class 1 fitting it needs an earth connection, so it is best installed by a qualified electrician, while the IP20 rating keeps it to dry indoor rooms. To keep the matt black looking sharp, switch off and wipe with a soft, dry cloth, avoiding damp wipes that could mark the paint. Pair it with a shade from the range or a filament LED lamp to complete the look.
