Description

The Lyris is a 3-metre steel suspension wire kit designed for pendant light installation, supplied with both ceiling and pendant mounting attachments. The 15mm-diameter steel cable provides the structural support for suspending pendant lights at adjustable heights, while the black cylindrical pendant attachment and nickel ceiling anchor provide the fixing points at each end of the cable run.

Designed for use with Ideal Lux pendant lights and compatible with most pendant fittings that require a separate suspension system, the kit allows pendant lights to be dropped at custom heights ranging from 200mm to the full 3m cable length. The cable can be cut to length during installation if a shorter drop is needed, and the excess cable can be stored inside the ceiling canopy. The ceiling attachment fixes into a standard UK ceiling rose or direct to a joist or concrete ceiling using appropriate fixings (not included).

The steel cable construction handles pendant weights up to the manufacturer's rating without stretching or sagging over time, making it suitable for multi-pendant installations where several cables support a cluster of lights at different heights.
