Description

The Lyria is a 7-light cluster pendant from Ideal Lux, built around seven transparent blown glass globes suspended on individual cables from a central nickel-plated canopy. Each globe contains a loosely-wound aluminium wire coil that sits inside the glass, creating a texture layer between the E27 bulb and the outer glass surface. The polished nickel finish on the canopy and cable hardware provides a cool metallic tone that pairs with both warm and neutral interiors.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and living room voids with ceiling heights of 2.6m or higher, the cluster spreads approximately 600mm wide when the individual cables settle into position. The 1100mm cable length allows the pendant to be adjusted during installation to sit 700-850mm above a dining surface or worktop. Each of the seven globes takes a separate E27 bulb (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose bulb wattage and colour temperature depending on the room. The arrangement provides multi-point light spread rather than a single central source, reducing hard shadows across a table.

The blown glass globes measure approximately 200mm in height each, with the internal aluminium wire coil visible as a hand-placed decorative element inside the clear glass. When lit, the wire creates fine shadows and refracts light through the glass in multiple directions, adding visual complexity without requiring additional diffusion. The nickel-plated metal components resist tarnishing and can be wiped clean with a dry cloth. The cluster is dimmable when paired with compatible dimmable E27 bulbs and a trailing-edge LED dimmer.
