Description

The Lyria is a 5-globe cluster pendant light built around a 1050mm circular chrome ceiling plate, from which five clear blown glass spheres hang on adjustable steel cables. Each globe contains internal aluminium wire decoration that catches and refracts light as the bulbs (sold separately) glow inside the clear glass shells. The chrome frame and globe hardware are polished to a mirror finish.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.6m or higher, the Lyria provides both ambient light from the combined 5 x E27 bulbs and a decorative sculptural presence when viewed from multiple angles. Each cable drop is independently adjustable using an automatic cable stop device, allowing the five globes to be staggered at different heights or arranged level depending on the ceiling profile and the desired visual effect. The 540mm projection at maximum drop suits open-plan spaces where the fitting is viewed from the side as well as below.

The globes range in diameter from approximately 150mm to 250mm across the cluster, with the largest globe typically positioned as the central element. The blown glass manufacturing process means each globe shows slight variation in wall thickness and the internal wire pattern, giving the cluster a handmade quality when lit. The IP20 rating restricts installation to dry indoor locations only. The fitting is dimmable when paired with dimmable E27 LED bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch.

What bulbs does the Lyria take?

The fitting takes five E27 (Edison screw) bulbs, sold separately. Most installations use 6-8W LED bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) to balance ambient light output with energy efficiency. The clear glass does not diffuse light, so avoid high-wattage or exposed-filament bulbs unless a very bright output is needed.

Can the cable drops be adjusted to different heights?

Yes. Each of the five cables has an independent automatic cable stop device at the ceiling plate, allowing each globe to be set at a different drop length. This allows the cluster to be arranged level for a formal look, or staggered to follow a sloped ceiling or create a cascading effect.

Is the Lyria dimmable?

The fitting itself is dimmable-compatible. To dim the light output, use dimmable E27 LED bulbs and pair the installation with a compatible LED dimmer switch. Non-dimmable bulbs will not respond to dimmer control and may flicker.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 540mm maximum projection suits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.6m or higher. In rooms with 2.4m ceilings the cables can be shortened during installation, but the cluster will sit closer to head height and may feel compressed in smaller spaces.
