Description

The Luxeon Trim recessed L-connector joins two sections of Luxeon Trim track at a 90° angle within ceiling recesses, maintaining continuous electrical connection through the horizontal run. The connector measures 80mm along each arm and sits flush within the recessed channel, forming a clean right-angle junction where track sections meet at corners or room layout changes.

Designed for commercial retail, gallery, hospitality and residential spaces using recessed track lighting systems, the L-connector allows track layouts to follow architectural lines without visible surface-mounted junction boxes. The white plastic housing matches the standard Luxeon Trim track finish and sits within the ceiling plane rather than projecting below it. The connector accepts standard Luxeon track heads and maintains dimmable capability when paired with compatible dimmers on the circuit.

The IP20 rating limits installation to interior dry locations only. The plastic construction keeps weight minimal during ceiling installation while the moulded housing protects the internal electrical contacts from dust ingress. Yes. The L-connector carries live, neutral and earth conductors through the 90° junction, allowing track heads mounted on either arm to draw power from the circuit. Polarity alignment during installation ensures correct electrical continuity.

What depth of ceiling recess is needed?

The connector requires the same recess depth as the Luxeon Trim track itself, typically 50-60mm depending on the specific track profile. Check the Luxeon Trim track specification for exact recess dimensions before ceiling preparation.
