Description

The Luxeon recessed track end power cap is a white metal component that terminates the powered end of an Ideal Lux Luxeon recessed track lighting system. Measuring 36mm in length with a 52mm projection, the cap conceals the electrical connections at the end of the track rail and provides a clean, finished edge where the track meets the ceiling plane.

Designed for use in ceiling-recessed track installations, the cap fits the Luxeon track profile and sits flush with the plasterwork or suspended ceiling tiles once installed. The white powder-coated metal finish matches the standard Luxeon track rail colour and blends into white or light-coloured ceilings in both residential and commercial settings.

The cap's 52mm projection from the track rail allows clearance for the internal electrical connectors while keeping the overall fitting discreet within the ceiling void. It pairs with the Luxeon track system's other components including spotlight heads, connectors, and non-powered end caps to create continuous recessed lighting runs across offices, retail spaces, galleries and domestic rooms.

What is the difference between a power cap and a non-powered end cap?

The power cap terminates the end of the track where electrical supply enters the system and includes internal connectors for the mains feed. A non-powered end cap simply closes off the opposite end of the track run with no electrical function.

Is this compatible with other track systems?

No. This cap is designed specifically for the Ideal Lux Luxeon recessed track profile and will not fit other manufacturers' track rails or surface-mounted track systems.

What depth of ceiling void is needed?

The 52mm projection means the cap extends 52mm above the visible track rail opening. Allow at least 60-70mm of ceiling void depth to accommodate the cap, electrical connections and any cable slack during installation.
