Description

The Luxeon is a 225mm recessed track connector from Ideal Lux, designed to join two sections of recessed linear track lighting in a straight line. The connector is made from white-finished aluminium with an 18mm projection depth, allowing it to sit flush within the ceiling recess and create a continuous run between track sections without visible gaps or joints.

Used in commercial showrooms, retail displays, galleries, office corridors and residential kitchens where recessed track lighting runs longer than a single track section, the connector maintains electrical continuity and physical alignment between adjacent track pieces. The aluminium construction provides structural rigidity to prevent sagging at join points while keeping the overall weight low. The white finish matches standard white recessed track systems from the Luxeon range.

The connector carries an IP20 rating, making it suitable for dry indoor locations only. The 225mm length provides enough contact area on each side to ensure a stable mechanical connection while the internal electrical contacts transfer power from one track section to the next. Installation requires the connector to be fitted between two track sections before they are recessed into the ceiling void, with the 18mm projection determining the minimum ceiling depth required.
