Description

The Luxeon is a twin-head LED magnetic track spotlight with two integrated 5W 3000K LED modules mounted on a 190mm extruded aluminium rail. The rail attaches magnetically to compatible track systems, allowing tool-free repositioning and angle adjustment along the track length. Each head rotates independently to direct light where needed.

Designed for retail displays, gallery accent lighting, kitchen worktop lighting and residential track systems, the Luxeon suits installations where lighting positions need to change frequently without re-wiring. The magnetic attachment means the entire twin-head unit can be slid along the track, removed, or swapped with other magnetic fittings in seconds. The 1-10V dimming protocol provides smooth control from full output down to 10% when paired with a compatible dimmer.

The white powder-coated aluminium finish gives a clean, minimal appearance that recedes visually into white or light-toned ceilings. The 40mm projection from the track keeps the fitting compact, while the 25mm height of each cylindrical head maintains a low profile. The IP20 rating confines use to dry indoor environments. Each 5W LED module delivers warm 3000K light that complements residential interiors and hospitality spaces without the cooler cast of 4000K+ commercial LEDs.

What track system does this fit?

The Luxeon attaches to magnetic track lighting systems using an integrated magnetic base. It is not compatible with traditional 3-circuit or single-circuit track rails. Check your existing track specification before ordering to confirm magnetic compatibility.

How is it dimmed?

The integrated LEDs use 1-10V dimming protocol. You need a compatible 1-10V dimmer installed on the track system to control brightness. The unit cannot be dimmed with standard leading-edge or trailing-edge household dimmers.

Can the heads be repositioned independently?

Each of the two cylindrical heads rotates on its mount to direct light independently. The entire twin-head unit moves as one piece along the magnetic track, but the heads themselves swivel to aim at different targets.

Is it suitable for bathroom use?

No. The IP20 rating means the unit offers no protection against moisture ingress and must only be used in dry indoor environments away from direct water exposure.
