Description

The Luxeon is a magnetic track lighting system with two cylindrical LED spotlight heads mounted on a 190mm white aluminium rail. Each head houses a fixed 12W LED module emitting 3000K warm white light, giving a combined 24W output across both heads. The spotlights attach magnetically to the rail and can be repositioned along its length without tools, then rotated and tilted on their mounts to direct light where needed.

Designed for retail displays, gallery walls, kitchen worktops and home offices, the Luxeon suits situations where accent lighting needs to adapt over time. The magnetic fixing means spotlight positions can be changed in seconds without re-wiring or unscrewing mounts. The 190mm rail fits across alcoves, above shelving units, or ceiling-mounted to highlight specific zones within a larger room. The twin-head configuration provides broader coverage than a single spotlight, suitable for illuminating 2-3m of wall or worktop from a ceiling height of 2.4-2.7m.

The white extruded aluminium rail has a low-profile 40mm projection from the mounting surface and measures 105mm in height including the spotlight head. The cylindrical heads are finished in matching white powder-coat, giving a clean modern appearance that sits comfortably in contemporary and minimalist interiors. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor environments only. The integrated LED modules are non-replaceable but carry a 5-year warranty from Ideal Lux.

Is the Luxeon dimmable?

No. The integrated LED modules operate at full output only and are not compatible with dimmer switches. If dimmable track lighting is required, contact us to discuss alternative Ideal Lux models.

Can the spotlight heads be moved after installation?

Yes. The magnetic fixing allows each spotlight to be repositioned anywhere along the 190mm rail without tools. The heads can also be rotated and tilted on their magnetic mounts to redirect light as room layouts or display needs change.

What is the colour temperature?

The integrated LEDs emit 3000K warm white light, comparable to a traditional halogen spotlight. This colour temperature suits residential interiors, hospitality settings and retail displays where a warmer tone is preferred over cooler daylight white.

Can additional spotlights be added to the rail?

The Luxeon is supplied as a complete twin-head system. The 190mm rail length and 24W total output are fixed. If more heads or longer rail runs are needed, multiple units can be installed side-by-side or Ideal Lux's modular magnetic track systems offer expandable configurations.
