The Luxeon is a twin-head magnetic track spotlight with two adjustable brushed gold aluminium cylinders mounted on a 190mm black magnetic track base. Each head houses an integrated 8W LED emitting 3000K warm white light, totalling 16W output across both spots. The heads rotate and tilt independently, allowing light to be directed onto different features or combined for concentrated illumination.

Designed for accent lighting in retail, hospitality and residential settings, the Luxeon suits highlighting artwork, architectural details, or feature walls where adjustable directional light is needed. The magnetic track system clips onto compatible magnetic rails (sold separately), allowing the spotlight to be repositioned along the rail without tools or re-wiring. The twin-head configuration provides flexibility to light two separate areas from a single track position or to layer light onto a single focal point.

The brushed gold finish on the aluminium cylinders pairs with the matt black track base to create a two-tone accent that works in both warm-toned contemporary and industrial-style interiors. Each cylinder measures approximately 70mm in height with a 40mm projection from the track when angled. The IP20 rating limits the Luxeon to dry indoor use, and the integrated LEDs are non-dimmable on standard circuits.

What track system does the Luxeon fit?

The Luxeon uses a magnetic track system. It clips onto Ideal Lux's compatible magnetic rails, which are sold separately. The magnetic connection allows the spotlight to be repositioned along the rail without tools or re-wiring, but it is not compatible with standard three-circuit or single-circuit track systems.

Can the light heads be adjusted independently?

Yes. Each of the two gold cylinder heads rotates and tilts independently on its mount, allowing you to direct one head onto one feature and the second head onto a different area, or to combine both beams onto a single focal point for increased intensity.

Is the integrated LED dimmable?

No. The integrated 16W LED is rated as non-dimmable on standard circuits. Attempting to use a dimmer with this spotlight may cause flickering or damage to the driver.

What is the IP20 rating suitable for?

IP20 indicates protection against solid objects larger than 12.5mm but no protection against moisture. The Luxeon is suitable for dry indoor locations only — living rooms, hallways, retail spaces, galleries — but not bathrooms, kitchens directly above hobs or sinks, or any outdoor or damp environments.
