Description

The Luxeon is an 8W LED magnetic track spotlight built around an extruded aluminium cylindrical body in white, housing an integrated LED module emitting 3000K warm white light. The spotlight mounts onto a compatible magnetic track rail via two integral magnets, allowing the fitting to be repositioned along the track without tools or re-wiring.

Designed for retail displays, gallery walls, kitchen worktops and feature lighting in residential and commercial interiors, the Luxeon provides directed accent light with 1-10V dimming control. The 1-10V protocol requires a compatible dimmer module in the track system or wall control to adjust output from full brightness down to approximately 10% minimum. The 190mm body length and 40mm projection from track keep the spotlight compact enough for low ceilings while the 70mm height provides sufficient throw for highlighting objects 1-2m from the track.

The magnetic mounting system differs from traditional clip-on track heads by using two strong magnets on the back of the spotlight body that attach directly to the steel track rail. This allows the fitting to be slid along the track to reposition the beam, turned to adjust the aim, or removed entirely for maintenance without disturbing adjacent fittings. The white powder-coated aluminium finish provides a neutral backdrop that recedes against white ceilings and pairs with both warm and cool interior colour schemes. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations.

The Luxeon uses a magnetic mounting system and fits Ideal Lux magnetic track rails. It will not fit standard track systems such as three-circuit track or single-circuit clip-on track. The magnetic track rail is sold separately and must be specified to match this fitting.

How is the 1-10V dimming controlled?

1-10V dimming requires a compatible dimmer module installed in the track power supply or a wall-mounted 1-10V controller.
