Description

The Luxeon is a 3W LED magnetic track spotlight with a cylindrical white aluminium head that attaches to a compatible magnetic track rail via a recessed magnetic adapter. The integrated LED outputs 3000K warm white light through a 40mm diameter aperture, providing directional accent or task lighting at ceiling level.

Designed for retail display lighting, gallery walls, kitchen worktops and corridor accent lighting, the spotlight sits on a magnetic mounting plate that clips into a compatible 48V DC magnetic track rail. The magnetic connection allows the spotlight to be repositioned along the rail without tools, while the 1-10V dimming protocol gives gradual control over light output from 10-100% intensity when paired with a compatible 1-10V dimmer controller.

The extruded aluminium body measures 40mm height by 190mm projection from the track rail when mounted. The white powder-coated finish matches contemporary and minimalist interiors without visual weight. The spotlight head tilts approximately 90 degrees from vertical, allowing light to be directed onto vertical surfaces, angled onto horizontal work surfaces, or aimed straight down for downlight effect. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations away from bathroom zones and outdoor exposure.

What track system does this spotlight fit?

The Luxeon fits magnetic track rails operating on 48V DC low-voltage systems. It will not fit standard mains-voltage track rails or three-circuit track systems. The magnetic adapter allows tool-free repositioning along compatible rails.

How is the dimming controlled?

The spotlight uses 1-10V dimming protocol, which requires a separate 1-10V dimmer controller installed between the mains supply and the track driver. The dimmer sends a low-voltage control signal to adjust LED output from 10-100% brightness.

Can the spotlight head be angled?

Yes. The cylindrical head tilts approximately 90 degrees from vertical on its mounting bracket, allowing light to be directed onto walls, angled onto worktops, or aimed straight down depending on the application.

Is it suitable for bathroom use?

No. The IP20 rating means the spotlight is not protected against moisture ingress and must only be used in dry indoor locations outside bathroom zones and away from splashing water.
