Description
The Luxeon is a 283mm adjustable linear track light with an integrated 13W LED module delivering 3000K warm white light through a louvred black aluminium housing. The fitting mounts onto standard track lighting systems and the head tilts to direct light onto walls, displays, or architectural features. The louvred face reduces glare while maintaining beam control, making the Luxeon suited to accent lighting rather than general room illumination.
Designed for retail displays, gallery walls, kitchen counters and home offices where task or accent lighting is needed, the Luxeon fits Ideal Lux Ego profile track systems and similar compatible rails. The 283mm length provides a linear beam footprint rather than a single spotlight effect, allowing one fitting to wash across a wider section of wall or worktop. The adjustable head locks into position once angled, preventing drift over time.
The matt black aluminium housing measures 22mm in projection from the track rail, keeping the fitting relatively low-profile against the ceiling or bulkhead. The integrated 13W LED is rated at 3000K colour temperature, providing warm white light that pairs well with residential and hospitality interiors. The IP20 rating restricts the fitting to dry indoor environments. The non-dimmable driver means the Luxeon operates at full output only, without compatibility for dimmer switches.

Frequently Asked
Is the Luxeon dimmable?
No. The integrated LED driver is non-dimmable and operates at full output only. Pairing the fitting with a dimmer switch will not reduce light output and may damage the driver.
What track system does it fit?
The Luxeon is designed for Ideal Lux Ego profile track systems. It may be compatible with other standard track rails, but Ideal Lux recommends using their own track for guaranteed fit and electrical compatibility.
Can it be used in bathrooms?
No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is suitable for dry indoor environments only and must not be installed in bathrooms, kitchens with heavy steam, or any location where moisture is present.
How is the light directed?
The head tilts on a lockable joint, allowing the beam to be angled towards a wall, display, or worktop. Once positioned, the head locks in place and does not drift. The louvred face reduces glare while maintaining directional control.
