Description

The Luxeon Dimmable Main Power Connector is a white polycarbonate hardwired feed unit for Luxeon magnetic track lighting systems, measuring 95mm long with an 18mm projection from the ceiling or wall surface. It connects to mains power via standard UK ceiling wiring and provides the electrical feed to a run of magnetic track, allowing spotlights and pendants to be clipped anywhere along the track length.

Designed for residential, retail and hospitality installations where adjustable lighting positions are needed, the connector eliminates the need for multiple fixed ceiling points. Once the main connector is wired to the ceiling rose or junction box, individual spotlights and pendants simply magnetically attach to the track wherever light is required. The dimmable rating means the connector passes dimmed power to all lights on the track when paired with a compatible mains dimmer switch upstream.

The white polycarbonate body blends cleanly with white or light-coloured ceilings and matches the finish of white Luxeon track. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor areas such as living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, offices and retail floors. The connector carries a 5-year warranty from Ideal Lux and forms part of their modular magnetic track system, which allows tracks to be joined, turned and extended using additional connectors and joiners.
