Is it compatible with dimmer switches?

The integrated LEDs are dimmable, but require a compatible LED dimmer. Not all household dimmers work with LED fittings — check the dimmer specification confirms LED compatibility before pairing. If using an older rotary or slider dimmer designed for incandescent bulbs, flickering or limited dimming range may occur.

Can the spotlight heads be repositioned after installation?

Yes. Both heads slide along the magnetic track bar without tools and rotate independently on their vertical axis. This allows light direction to be adjusted for different tasks or room layouts without removing the fitting from the ceiling.

What colour temperature is 4000K?

4000K is a cool white light, sitting between neutral white (3500K) and daylight white (5000K). It provides clear, focused illumination suited to task lighting in kitchens, offices and workspaces where colour accuracy and concentration are needed. For warmer ambient light in living rooms or bedrooms, a 2700K-3000K fitting would be more appropriate.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is designed for dry indoor environments only. Bathrooms require a minimum IP44 rating to protect against water splashes, and zones near showers or baths need IP65 or higher. Use this fitting in kitchens, offices, hallways or living areas instead.
