Description

The Luxeon is a twin-head track spotlight with two independently adjustable cylindrical LED heads mounted on a magnetic track bar. Each head houses a 12W integrated LED module providing 3000K warm white light, and both are dimmable via compatible leading-edge or trailing-edge dimmers. The matt black aluminium bodies attach magnetically to the track, allowing the heads to be repositioned along the 190mm bar length without tools.

Designed for accent lighting in kitchens, retail displays, art walls and home offices, the twin-head configuration provides directed task light or highlights specific zones within a room. The magnetic mounting system means the spotlight heads can be slid along the track to adjust beam positioning after installation, which is useful when lighting needs change or when re-arranging furniture. The track mounts to a standard UK ceiling plate and the integrated driver sits inside the track housing.

The extruded aluminium construction keeps the combined weight of both heads and the track bar below 800g, making it suitable for plasterboard ceilings with standard fixings. The matt black finish is a low-sheen powder coat that absorbs rather than reflects ambient light, reducing glare in the periphery while the beam remains focused downward. The 105mm projection from the ceiling gives clearance for the heads to rotate through 350° horizontally and tilt 90° vertically, allowing full coverage of a workspace or display surface below.

Yes. The integrated LED modules are compatible with leading-edge and trailing-edge dimmers rated for LED loads. Dimmer performance varies by model, so verify compatibility with the specific dimmer in your installation before purchase.

Can the spotlight heads be repositioned after installation?

Yes. The heads attach magnetically to the track bar and can be slid along the 190mm length without tools. This allows beam position to be adjusted when room layout changes or when different areas need highlighting.

What colour temperature is the LED?

The integrated LEDs are 3000K warm white, which is the standard residential warm white tone. This sits between the warmer 2700K of traditional incandescent bulbs and the cooler 4000K of office or commercial lighting.

What ceiling height does it suit?

The 105mm projection and adjustable tilt work best with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3m. In lower ceilings the heads may need to be angled outward to avoid directing light too steeply downward; in higher ceilings the beam may not provide enough concentration for task lighting without supplementary fixtures.
