Description

The Luxeon is a magnetic twin-head track spotlight from Ideal Lux, carrying two integrated LED spotlight heads on a 190mm linear rail finished in white extruded aluminium. Each head houses an 8W LED at 3000K colour temperature, giving a combined 16W output across both heads. The magnetic mounting system allows each spotlight head to be slid along the rail and repositioned without tools, and the heads rotate and tilt independently to direct light where needed.

Designed for accent lighting in retail, galleries, home offices and living spaces, the Luxeon provides focused directional light from a ceiling-mounted rail. The track mounts directly to standard UK ceiling roses or junction boxes, with wiring concealed inside the aluminium rail housing. Both LED heads are dimmable when paired with a compatible trailing-edge or leading-edge dimmer, allowing output to be reduced for ambient evening lighting or increased for task lighting over desks, worktops and display areas.

The white powder-coated aluminium finish gives a clean, minimalist appearance that suits modern and contemporary interiors without drawing visual weight. The track projects 40mm from the ceiling when mounted, with each cylindrical spotlight head measuring 70mm in height. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor environments—this is not suitable for bathrooms, kitchens with heavy steam, or any outdoor application. The integrated LEDs are rated for approximately 30,000 hours of use, eliminating bulb replacement over the typical lifespan of the fitting.
