The Luxeon is a 7W LED magnetic track light module measuring 192mm long by 28mm high, finished in matt black metal. Designed for Ideal Lux's Ego magnetic track profile systems, the module clips onto the track via an integrated magnetic mount and is repositionable without tools. The integrated LED emits 3000K warm white light and is dimmable via 1-10V protocol, requiring a compatible dimmer on the track power supply.

Designed for residential, retail and hospitality interiors where reconfigurable accent or task lighting is needed, the Luxeon suits gallery walls, retail display runs, kitchen worktop lighting and home office desks. The magnetic fixing allows the module to be moved along the track and rotated to redirect the beam as room layouts change. The 22mm projection from the track keeps the fitting close to the ceiling or wall-mounted track profile, minimising visual intrusion.

The black powder-coated aluminium housing dissipates heat from the 7W LED efficiently, maintaining stable output over the module's rated lifespan. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor environments only — this module is not suitable for bathrooms, outdoor canopies or any location where moisture is present. What track system does the Luxeon fit?

The Luxeon is designed for Ideal Lux's Ego magnetic track profile system. It clips onto the track via an integrated magnetic mount and can be repositioned along the track run without tools. It is not compatible with standard three-circuit track systems or other manufacturers' magnetic profiles.

How is the 1-10V dimming controlled?

1-10V dimming requires a compatible dimmer installed on the track power supply, not at the module itself. The dimmer sends a low-voltage control signal to the LED driver within the module to adjust brightness from 10% to 100%. Standard trailing-edge or leading-edge mains dimmers will not work with this system.

Can the beam angle be adjusted?

The module can be rotated on the magnetic mount to redirect the beam along the track axis or perpendicular to it. The beam angle itself is fixed by the LED optic and reflector design inside the housing and cannot be adjusted.

Is it suitable for bathroom use?

No. The IP20 rating means the module has no moisture ingress protection and is rated for dry indoor environments only. Do not install in bathrooms, wet rooms, outdoor canopies or any location where water or condensation is present.
