Description

The Luxeon is a twin-head magnetic track spotlight with two cylindrical gold-finished heads mounted on a black magnetic track rail. Each head houses a 12W integrated LED running at 3000K, giving a combined output of 24W warm white light. The cylindrical heads are directional, allowing each to be aimed independently at artwork, display shelving, or architectural features.

Designed for retail, gallery, residential and hospitality settings where accent lighting is needed without fixed ceiling wiring, the Luxeon uses a magnetic track system that allows the spotlight heads to be repositioned along the rail length without tools. The 190mm track rail fixes to a ceiling or wall via mounting clips, and the two heads attach magnetically, making reconfiguration quick when displays or room layouts change. The IP20 rating suits indoor dry environments only.

The extruded aluminium construction gives the fitting a robust 105mm projection from the ceiling once mounted, with each cylindrical head measuring approximately 40mm diameter. The gold finish on the spotlight heads contrasts with the black track rail, creating a two-tone accent that pairs with brass fixtures, warm-toned interiors, and contemporary commercial fit-outs. The integrated LEDs are not dimmable and are non-replaceable, with Ideal Lux backing the fitting with a 5-year warranty.

Can the spotlight heads be moved along the track?

Yes. The magnetic track system allows each spotlight head to be repositioned along the 190mm track rail without tools. The heads attach magnetically and can be slid to new positions when displays or lighting needs change.

Is this dimmable?

No. The integrated LEDs are not compatible with dimmer switches. The output is fixed at 24W total across both heads.

Can the LEDs be replaced?

No. The LEDs are integrated into each spotlight head and are non-replaceable. Ideal Lux provides a 5-year warranty on the complete fitting including the LEDs.

What colour temperature is 3000K?

3000K is warm white, similar to halogen bulbs and traditional incandescent lighting. It produces a warm, slightly yellow-toned light that suits residential and hospitality settings where a cosy atmosphere is preferred over clinical white light.
