Description

The Luxeon is a 2-head magnetic track spotlight system with integrated 24W LED output at 3000K, housed in extruded black aluminium bodies. Each cylindrical head measures 105mm tall by 40mm diameter and mounts magnetically to the 190mm-long track bar, allowing repositioning without tools. The system is 1-10V dimmable and rated IP20 for indoor use.

Designed for retail displays, gallery walls, home offices and kitchen worktops, the magnetic mounting enables light positions to be changed as display layouts evolve or task areas shift. The track bar fixes to a ceiling or wall via standard mounting points, and each spotlight head can be slid along the bar, rotated on its vertical axis, and tilted to direct the beam. The black finish integrates cleanly with industrial, modern and monochrome interiors.

The 3000K colour temperature produces warm white light suited to accent lighting on artwork, product displays, or task surfaces where colour rendering matters. The extruded aluminium construction dissipates LED heat passively without requiring fans or noise-producing cooling. The 1-10V dimming protocol requires a compatible dimmer controller (sold separately) and allows gradual light level adjustment from full output down to near-off.

How does the magnetic mounting work?

Each spotlight head sits on a magnetic base that attaches to the metal track bar. The heads can be slid along the bar, rotated, and tilted without loosening screws. This allows quick repositioning as room layouts or display needs change. The track bar itself fixes to the ceiling or wall with standard screws.

What dimming control is needed?

The Luxeon uses 1-10V dimming protocol, which requires a separate 1-10V dimmer controller (sold separately). This protocol is common in commercial installations and provides smooth dimming from full brightness to near-off without flicker. Standard household dimmers are not compatible.

Can additional heads be added to the track?

The 190mm track bar is designed for the two supplied heads. Ideal Lux produces longer magnetic track systems with capacity for three or more heads — check the Ideal Lux range at Niori for alternative configurations if you need more light positions on a single run.

Is it suitable for bathroom use?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is protected against solid objects larger than 12.5mm but not against water ingress. It should only be used in dry indoor environments such as living rooms, kitchens (away from sinks), offices and retail spaces.
