Description

The Luxeon is a twin-head LED track spotlight with two independently aimable 8W LED modules mounted on a 190mm magnetic track bar, finished in matt black extruded aluminium. Each cylindrical head houses an integrated 8W LED delivering 3000K warm white light through a deep-set reflector, and both heads rotate and tilt independently to direct light where needed. The complete unit draws 16W and connects to magnetic track systems via a magnetic coupling on the back of the bar.

Designed for residential, retail and hospitality installations using magnetic track lighting, the Luxeon suits accent lighting over artwork, feature walls, retail displays and kitchen worktops where directional light from two sources is needed from a single track position. The magnetic coupling allows the spotlight to be repositioned along the track without tools, and the twin-head configuration provides more coverage than a single-head unit while occupying the same track footprint. The 1-10V dimming protocol is compatible with most commercial and residential dimmer systems.

The matt black aluminium construction gives the spotlight a 70mm projection from the track bar when the heads are angled downward, with each cylindrical head measuring approximately 70mm in height. The finish is a low-sheen black that minimises reflections under overhead lighting and pairs cleanly with black or white track systems. The IP20 rating limits the Luxeon to dry indoor environments — it is not suitable for bathrooms, kitchens with direct splash zones, or outdoor use.

What track system does the Luxeon fit?

The Luxeon uses a magnetic coupling system designed for magnetic track rails. It will not fit standard three-circuit or single-circuit track systems without an adapter. Contact us to confirm compatibility with your existing track before ordering.

Can each spotlight head be aimed independently?

Yes. Both LED heads rotate and tilt independently on their mounting stems, allowing one to be directed at a wall and the other at a floor position, or both aimed at different points on the same surface.

Is the Luxeon dimmable?

Yes. The integrated LEDs are compatible with 1-10V dimming systems, which are common in commercial and some residential installations. Standard trailing-edge dimmers will not work — the track system must supply 1-10V control.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the Luxeon is not protected against moisture and is only suitable for dry indoor environments. For bathroom use, look for track spotlights with a minimum IP44 rating.
