Description

The Lux is a table lamp built around a triangular polished chrome frame that holds a faceted frosted-clear glass shade at its centre. The frame forms an asymmetric triangular loop, approximately 190mm wide and 200mm tall, with the glass sphere suspended inside. A single G9 bulb sits within the sphere (sold separately), casting light through the multi-faceted surface which breaks and diffuses the beam.

Designed for bedside tables, home office desks and console surfaces where a compact light source is needed without a large shade footprint, the Lux provides task or ambient light depending on the bulb chosen. The triangular frame sits on an oval polished chrome base plate measuring 160mm long, giving stability without a wide spread. The frosted-clear glass reduces glare from the bare bulb while the faceted cutting creates texture and light refraction when the lamp is switched on.

The polished chrome finish reflects surrounding light during the day, making the lamp function as a small sculptural accent even when switched off. The G9 socket accepts halogen or LED capsule bulbs up to the wattage specified in the Specification table, and the lamp is dimmable when paired with a compatible G9 dimmable bulb and dimmer switch. At 500g the fitting has enough weight to sit securely on most surfaces without needing to be fixed down.
