Description

The Luverne is a 500mm outdoor pedestal light finished in oil-rubbed bronze with a clear ribbed glass shade housing a single E27 bulb (sold separately). The metal framework features raised bead detailing around the lid and base, with acanthus-leaf scrollwork on the four arms that support the glass enclosure. The bronze finish shows through-wear highlights on the raised details, giving the appearance of aged metalwork.

Designed for driveways, front garden paths, gate pillars and patio entrances, the pedestal provides ground-level lighting suitable for navigation after dark. The 229mm square base plate allows the fitting to be mounted on a flat masonry pillar, a brick gate post or a purpose-built concrete plinth. The IP44 rating protects the electrical components from rain ingress and solid objects above 1mm, making it suitable for exposed outdoor positions in the UK climate.

The ribbed glass creates vertical striations in the light output, softening the direct glare from the bulb while maintaining downward throw onto pathways and driveways. The E27 socket accepts standard LED, halogen or filament bulbs up to 60W, giving flexibility to choose colour temperature and lumen output depending on the application. Pairing with a warm-white LED bulb between 6-10W and 2700K creates ambient path lighting without over-illuminating adjacent planting or windows.
