Description

The Luverne is a 337mm outdoor wall lantern with a ribbed clear glass shade enclosed in an oil rubbed bronze frame carrying classical bead detailing, leaf scrollwork and relief medallions. The lantern takes a single E27 bulb up to 60W (sold separately) and carries an IP44 rating for use on covered porches, entrance canopies and under-eave mounting where the fitting is protected from direct rain.

Designed for front doors, porch columns and entrance walls where a compact classical fitting is needed, the Luverne projects 197mm from the wall and sits 178mm wide, making it suited to narrower wall sections flanking doorways or on porch pillars where a larger lantern would overpower the architecture. The ribbed glass diffuses bulb glare while allowing warm light to spread across the entrance area, and the bronze finish pairs with brick, render and painted timber facades in traditional, colonial and craftsman-style homes.

The oil rubbed bronze finish applies a dark base coat with lighter bronze highlights brought through on raised detail — the bead patterns around the glass frame, the acanthus leaf scrolls on the vertical arms, and the floral medallions on the backplate all carry this two-tone effect. The clear ribbed glass is sealed into a metal cage frame, and the lantern mounts via a rectangular backplate fixed to a standard outdoor junction box.

Yes. The ribbed glass shade is held in the metal cage frame by a bottom access panel or cap (design varies by production year). Unscrew the lower finial or release the lower panel to access the E27 socket for bulb replacement.
