Description

The Luna is a 13cm frosted glass globe suspended from a white metal magnetic track rail, housing an integrated 5W LED rated at 3000K warm white. The magnetic track system allows the globe pendant to be positioned anywhere along the rail without hard-wiring each fixture — the pendant clicks onto the track via magnetic contact points that carry both power and data. The rail itself runs on DC 48V supplied by a separate track driver (sold separately).

Designed for kitchens, hallways and living spaces where adjustable pendant positions matter, the Luna works as a single accent over a sideboard or console table, or as part of a multi-pendant run along a kitchen island or galley corridor. The magnetic system means the pendant can be moved along the track at any time without re-wiring or calling an electrician, allowing room layouts to change without re-fitting the lighting. The frosted glass diffuses the LED evenly, minimising glare from any viewing angle.

The white powder-coated metal track and globe arm pair cleanly with white or light-coloured ceilings, making the rail itself less visually prominent than black or metallic track systems. The 13cm globe diameter provides enough presence for a single-pendant installation without dominating smaller rooms, and at 5W per globe the system can support multiple pendants on a single track run without overloading a standard driver. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor rooms — bathrooms and outdoor installations require higher-rated fittings.

Does this include the track rail and driver?

No. The Luna pendant is sold separately from the track rail and the DC 48V driver. You will need to purchase a compatible Maytoni Exility magnetic track rail and a 48V driver to power the system. Multiple Luna pendants can be installed on a single track run.

Can the pendant be moved once installed?

Yes. The magnetic track system allows the pendant to be repositioned anywhere along the rail without re-wiring. The pendant attaches to the track via magnetic contact points that carry power, so it can be slid along the rail or removed and re-positioned at any time.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The 5W LED is integrated into the pendant and is not user-replaceable. The LED has a typical lifespan of 25,000-30,000 hours, equivalent to approximately 10-15 years of typical domestic use at 5-6 hours per day.

What IP rating does it carry?

The Luna is rated IP20, which means it is suitable for dry indoor rooms only. It cannot be used in bathrooms, kitchens with heavy steam exposure, or outdoor installations.
