Description

The Lumora is a 2-light bar spotlight with adjustable cylindrical heads mounted on a 450mm white powder-coated metal rail. Each head houses a GU10 bulb (sold separately) and pivots on a ball joint to direct light where needed, making the fitting suitable for accent lighting, task lighting over worktops, or wash lighting onto feature walls.

Designed for ceiling or wall mounting, the Lumora fits rooms where directed light is preferred over ambient ceiling fittings. The rectangular back plate measures 450mm × 55mm and fixes directly to the ceiling or wall surface with recessed screws, giving a flush installation without visible fixings once the cover plate is in place. The IP20 rating confines use to dry indoor areas such as kitchens, living rooms, hallways, home offices and bedrooms.

The white powder-coated finish on the metal rail and spotlight heads provides a clean, neutral appearance that pairs with white or light-coloured ceilings without creating a visual break. The 100mm projection from the mounting surface allows the heads to tilt through a full range of angles, from straight down for task lighting to angled across for feature lighting. Each GU10 socket accepts LED, halogen or CFL bulbs up to the rated wattage, and the fitting is dimmable when paired with compatible GU10 dimmable bulbs and a suitable dimmer switch.

No. The Lumora takes two GU10 bulbs (sold separately). Most users pair it with 5-7W warm-white LED GU10 bulbs for energy efficiency and long life.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when fitted with dimmable GU10 bulbs and connected to a compatible GU10 dimmer switch. The fitting itself supports dimming but requires both dimmable bulbs and a suitable dimmer on the circuit.

Can it be mounted on a wall as well as a ceiling?

Yes. The back plate is designed for either ceiling or wall mounting. On a wall the heads can be angled to wash light across artwork, shelving or architectural features.

What's the IP rating and where can it be used?

IP20. This rating means the fitting is suitable for dry indoor areas only. It cannot be used in bathrooms, outdoor covered areas, or anywhere exposed to moisture.
