Description

The Luella is a 406mm diameter 3-light ceiling fitting built around a black metal tapered shade with brass accents inside and on the suspension rod. The fitting converts between pendant chandelier configuration (1144mm maximum drop) and semi-flush mount (230mm minimum drop) using the included stem, giving flexibility to adapt to ceiling height or room style changes without replacing the fixture. Three E14 bulb holders sit behind brass arms visible through the shade opening, each taking a candle bulb up to 40W (bulbs sold separately).

Designed for dining rooms, breakfast rooms, and living rooms with ceiling heights between 2.3m and 3m, the Luella works as a pendant over a dining table or as a semi-flush in lower-ceilinged rooms where a suspended light would hang too close to head height. In pendant mode, the black shade directs light downward onto a table surface while the brass interior reflects a warmer secondary glow. In semi-flush mode, the fitting sits closer to the ceiling and spreads light more evenly across the room. The 406mm shade diameter suits dining tables 1200-1800mm long or rooms 3-4m wide.

The black metal shade is finished in a low-sheen powder coat that minimises reflections under daylight, whilst the brass detailing on the canopy, suspension rod, and interior arms adds warmth and pairs with both traditional and mid-century interiors. The duo-mount mechanism uses a threaded rod system concealed inside the brass suspension tube — changing between pendant and semi-flush requires only unthreading the canopy, removing or adding stem sections, and re-threading the canopy onto the ceiling rose. The entire conversion takes approximately 10 minutes with basic tools and no rewiring.
