Description

The Lucca is a 65cm three-light crystal chandelier built around a polished chrome circular frame supporting three arms, each fitted with a white fabric shade and an E27 bulb socket. Asfour cut crystal droplets hang beneath each arm and from the central body, refracting light into the shade interiors and onto surrounding surfaces. The chandelier suspends on white corded cables that run from the ceiling rose to the chrome canopy at the top of the frame.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the Lucca provides ambient light distributed across three points on the circular frame rather than from a single central source. The 500-1500mm adjustable drop allows the chandelier to be set 700-900mm above a dining table or higher in double-height entrance halls depending on ceiling height. The polished chrome finish reflects room light and complements both warm and cool interior tones.

Each white shade is pleated fabric stretched over a metal frame, diffusing the light from the E27 bulb inside while the Asfour crystal droplets below add optical interest and refract ambient light when the chandelier is switched off during daylight. The 650mm diameter suits dining tables between 1.4m and 2m in length without overwhelming smaller rooms. At 2.8kg the chandelier requires a secure ceiling fixing capable of supporting the weight plus the bulbs.

The chandelier takes three E27 (Edison screw) bulbs, sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED bulbs between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for ambient dining or living room lighting. The maximum wattage depends on the bulb type. Check manufacturer guidelines.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when fitted with dimmable E27 bulbs and connected to a compatible dimmer switch. Both the bulbs and the dimmer must support dimming. Standard non-dimmable LEDs will not dim and may flicker or fail if used with a dimmer.

What dining table size does it suit?

The 650mm diameter works well over dining tables between 1.4m and 2m in length. For tables longer than 2m, consider two smaller pendants or a larger chandelier to balance the proportions.

How is the drop adjusted during installation?

The white corded cables can be shortened during fitting by coiling excess cable inside the ceiling rose or canopy. Once installed the drop is fixed, so measure the desired height before trimming the cables.
