Description

The Lotus is a 1.4m vertical outdoor wall light with a rust brown powder-coated aluminium housing and an integrated 24W LED strip casting warm 3000K light through a frosted polycarbonate diffuser. The light emits from both sides of the slim 54mm-wide bar, producing 2300 lumens total across a 120° beam angle that washes the wall surface above and below the fitting.

Designed for exterior architectural lighting on facades, entrance surrounds, covered patios and garden walls, the Lotus suits contemporary homes, hospitality exteriors and commercial buildings seeking vertical accent lighting. The 1440mm height provides enough presence to flank doorways or define wall sections without requiring multiple fittings. The 50mm projection keeps the light close to the wall plane, minimising intrusion into walkways or seating areas.

The rust brown finish provides a warmer alternative to black or graphite on natural stone, timber cladding, exposed brick and earth-toned renders. The powder coating carries an IP54 rating, providing dust protection and resistance to rain splashes from any direction. Surface-mount installation requires two fixing points on a flat vertical surface, with cable entry from the rear. The non-dimmable driver is housed within the fitting and connects to mains 220-240V supply.

The Lotus carries a 3-year manufacturer warranty covering LED driver and housing defects.

What does IP54 mean for outdoor use?

IP54 provides dust protection (the '5') and resistance to water splashes from any direction (the '4'). The Lotus is suitable for covered patios, building facades under eaves, and garden walls where the fitting is not directly exposed to prolonged heavy rain or submersion. It is not rated for fully exposed positions without shelter.

Does the light emit from one or both sides?

Both sides. The LED strip runs vertically inside the housing and the frosted diffuser wraps around the front face, so light washes the wall both upward and downward from the fitting, creating a vertical band of illumination.

Can this be dimmed?

No. The integrated LED driver does not support dimming. The light runs at full 2300lm output whenever powered on.

How is it mounted?

Surface-mount to a flat vertical wall using two fixing points. Cable entry is from the rear of the housing. A qualified electrician should install and connect to mains 220-240V supply.
