Description

The Lotus is a 1240mm vertical outdoor LED wall light with an integrated 18W LED strip housed inside a rust brown aluminium bar that measures 54mm wide and projects just 50mm from the wall. The LED delivers 1900 lumens at 3000K through a diffused lens that runs the full height of the fitting, creating a warm linear glow along the wall surface. The IP54 rating protects against dust and water splashes, making it suitable for external walls, covered patios and garden entrances.

Designed for modern and rustic-contemporary exteriors, the Lotus works on both sides of entrance doors to create vertical light columns, or as accent lighting along perimeter walls, garden pathways and terrace edges. The slim profile means it sits close to the wall without obstructing foot traffic on narrow walkways or verandas. The 120° beam angle spreads light evenly across adjacent wall surfaces and the ground below, while the warm colour temperature reduces the harsh blue tone common in many outdoor LEDs.

The rust brown finish is a powder-coated aluminium that develops a matte, oxidised appearance similar to weathered Corten steel, giving the fitting an earthy tone that pairs with natural stone, timber cladding, brick and terracotta surfaces. The finish is applied over the aluminium body rather than being a true rust patina, so it remains stable and does not flake or stain adjacent surfaces. At 1.72kg the fitting requires secure wall plugs into masonry or timber studs, and the 220-240V mains connection should be run through an external-rated conduit or buried cable where exposed to weather.

Is the integrated LED replaceable?

No. The LED is integrated into the fitting and cannot be replaced by the end user. The LED has a rated lifespan of approximately 25,000-30,000 hours at 3000K, which translates to around 8-10 years of typical evening use. If the LED fails within the 3-year warranty period, the entire fitting is replaced under warranty.

Can it be dimmed?

No. The integrated LED driver does not support dimming and connecting it to a dimmer circuit may cause flickering or damage to the driver.

What surfaces can it be mounted to?

The Lotus can be mounted to brick, rendered masonry, timber cladding, or metal cladding using appropriate wall plugs and fixings for the substrate. At 1.72kg the fitting requires secure anchoring — use expanding wall plugs for masonry or timber studs for cladding.
