Description

The Look is a dual-function wall light combining an adjustable LED reading spotlight with a USB charging port behind a powder-coated white metal frame. The main diffuser panel houses an integrated 3W LED at 3000K colour temperature, while the separate cylindrical spotlight head rotates and tilts on a ball joint to direct focused reading light where needed.

Designed for bedside positions, study desks and sofa-side reading corners, the Look provides both ambient light through the white diffuser panel and directed task light through the adjustable spotlight. The USB port sits on the wall plate, allowing devices to charge without occupying a nearby socket. The 250mm projection from the wall positions the spotlight head far enough forward to light a book or screen without the glare hitting the wall behind.

The powder-coated white finish on the metal frame provides a clean low-sheen appearance that pairs with white walls and light-toned interiors. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry interior spaces only. The integrated LED cannot be replaced, but carries a five-year warranty from Ideal Lux covering both the LED module and the driver circuitry.

Is the Look dimmable?

No. The integrated LED runs at a fixed 3W output and is not compatible with dimmer switches. The light output is designed for focused task lighting rather than variable ambient control.

What's the USB charging output?

The USB port provides standard 5V charging for phones, tablets and e-readers. Exact amp output varies by production batch — contact us if you need confirmation for a specific fast-charge protocol.

Can both lights be switched independently?

This depends on the wiring configuration during installation. The fitting has a single mains connection, so by default both the diffuser panel and the spotlight share the same on/off control. Independent switching requires separate cabling to each light source, which may not be possible with the standard Look wiring setup.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the Look is suitable only for dry interior spaces. Bathrooms require IP44 minimum for zones 2 and 3.
