Description

The Look is a 40cm pendant light built around a blown and acid-etched white glass diffuser housed in a white metal frame. The glass is treated with acid etching to scatter light evenly and reduce glare, while the crisp white metal surround conceals the bulb and provides a clean edge to the opal glass. A single E27 bulb inside the diffuser casts soft ambient light downwards and outwards through the glass.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and bedroom settings, the Look hangs on adjustable steel cables with automatic stoppers that allow the drop height to be set on installation without tools. The 40cm diameter suits rooms where gentle overhead lighting is needed without the spread or presence of a larger pendant. The IP20 rating makes the fitting suitable for indoor dry locations only.

The white-on-white finish blends into white or light-neutral ceilings while the opal glass provides a distinct visual element when lit. The E27 socket accepts LED, halogen or filament bulbs up to the wattage limit shown in the Specification table (sold separately), and the fitting is dimmable when paired with compatible dimmers and dimmable bulbs. The glass diffuser is removable for bulb changes via a twist-lock mechanism on the metal frame.

What bulb does it take and is one included?

The Look takes a standard E27 bulb. No bulb is included with the fitting. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED bulb between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for ambient lighting over dining or bedside tables.

Is it dimmable?

The fitting itself is dimmable. You will need a dimmable E27 bulb and a compatible dimmer switch installed in your circuit. Non-dimmable LED bulbs will not dim and may flicker if used with a dimmer.

How is the drop height adjusted?

The pendant hangs on steel cables with automatic cable stoppers. During installation the cables can be set to the desired drop height and locked in place without tools. Once set, the height remains fixed unless the stoppers are manually adjusted.

Can this be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is designed for dry indoor locations only. It is not rated for bathroom zones where moisture or water contact is present.
