The clear glass gives full visibility to the bulb inside, so pairing the lantern with a decorative filament LED or vintage-style bulb creates the classic lantern aesthetic. The 300mm height and 190mm width work on standard UK entrance door surrounds and porch walls without overwhelming the surface.

The electro-galvanised steel frame is powder-coated in matt black, giving corrosion resistance in typical UK outdoor conditions where the fitting is mounted under an overhang or porch roof.
