Description

The Lineal is a 1.2m linear suspension light with an integrated 38W LED running the full length of a slender 36mm-wide tube in a matte sand black finish. The LED produces 5150 lumens of 3000K warm white light distributed evenly along the 1220mm length, providing focused illumination across the plane below without spill or glare above the fitting.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and workspace desks where linear illumination is needed, the Lineal hangs from two thin suspension cables adjustable between 70mm and 1570mm drop. This allows it to be set 700-800mm above a dining table or 600-700mm above a kitchen island worktop depending on ceiling height. The narrow 36mm tube profile keeps the fitting visually light despite the 1.2m length, and the matte black finish reduces reflections under daylight.

The LED strip inside the tube is sealed and non-replaceable, rated for 38W power consumption on 220-240V mains. At 5150 lumens the output is equivalent to approximately six 60W filament bulbs spread across the 1.2m length, giving practical task lighting for food preparation, dining and desk work. The sand black finish is a fine-texture matte powder coat that sits between pure black and dark grey, softening the visual weight of the tube against lighter ceilings.

The fitting weighs 1.4kg and requires a ceiling fixing capable of supporting this load plus the cable tension. The rectangular canopy measures approximately 250mm long and fixes to a standard UK ceiling rose or joist-mounted bracket. The suspension cables conceal the power feed and allow the tube to be levelled during installation.
