Description
The Lily is a 2-light wall light built around a hand-patinated bronze frame that curves upward in a leaf motif, holding two E14 candle bulb holders and smoked cut glass droplets suspended from the arms. Each bronze leaf is hand-patinated to produce a deep, slightly varied finish that darkens into recesses and highlights raised edges. The glass droplets hang from the arms and below the candle drips, catching and refracting light when the bulbs are lit.
Designed for hallways, living rooms, dining rooms and staircases where wall-mounted decorative lighting is needed without ceiling height constraints, the Lily provides accent lighting from two candle bulbs (sold separately) rather than ambient illumination. The 440mm width and 150mm projection from the wall mean the fitting works on walls with at least 1.8m clear width and away from high-traffic doorways where the glass droplets could be caught. The curved arms extend outward and upward from the central oval backplate, positioning the bulbs at different heights to create asymmetric visual interest.
The bronze patina finish is applied by hand, so tonal variation between individual fittings is normal — some areas may appear warmer brown-bronze, others cooler grey-bronze depending on how the patination developed during manufacture. This variation is characteristic of hand-finished metalwork rather than a defect. The smoked glass droplets are faceted to create prismatic reflections, and their smoky tint softens the sparkle compared to clear crystal. Paired with warm-white candle bulbs at 2700K-3000K, the combination of bronze and smoked glass produces a traditional, classical lighting effect that suits period properties, heritage interiors and traditionally furnished rooms.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Lily take?
The fitting takes two E14 small Edison screw candle bulbs, each up to 60W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with candle-flame LED bulbs at 4-6W in warm white (2700K-3000K) to match the traditional aesthetic of the bronze and glass.
Is the bronze finish consistent across fittings?
No. Each bronze leaf is hand-patinated, so tonal variation between individual fittings is normal. Some areas may appear warmer brown-bronze, others cooler grey-bronze. This variation is characteristic of hand-finished metalwork and part of the traditional manufacturing process.
How much does the fitting project from the wall?
The Lily projects 150mm from the wall once mounted. The glass droplets add minimal additional projection but do move slightly on their hanging wires, so the fitting should be positioned away from high-traffic doorways or narrow corridors where they could be caught.
Can the glass droplets be removed for cleaning?
The glass droplets hang on small wire loops and can be carefully unhooked for cleaning. Clean smoked glass with a soft microfibre cloth slightly dampened with distilled water, then dry immediately to avoid water marks. Avoid household glass cleaners as they can leave residue on faceted surfaces.
