Description

This Libra pillar candle combines a white paraffin wax body with a metallic green ombre base that graduates from dark metallic green at the bottom to pale silvered green midway up the 12cm height. The 7x7cm square footprint makes it stable on flat surfaces without needing a deep holder, and the specially designed wick is engineered to produce a clean flame with minimal smoke or soot during the 60-hour approximate burn time.

Designed for table centrepieces, mantlepiece displays and windowsill groupings, the candle works as a single accent piece or in multiples where different heights can be grouped together. The metallic green base catches ambient light and reflects it differently depending on viewing angle, adding visual interest when unlit as well as when burning. The compact 12cm height suits low tables and shelves where taller pillar candles would obstruct sightlines.

All Libra candles are manufactured in Europe to EU quality and safety standards, using 100% paraffin wax selected for its clean burn characteristics and consistent melting point. The ombre finish is applied during the moulding process, so the metallic colouring is integral to the wax surface rather than a separate coating. The candle weighs 392g and provides approximately 60 hours of burn time under normal indoor conditions with minimal draughts.

The candle provides approximately 60 hours of burn time under normal indoor conditions. Actual burn time varies depending on air movement, room temperature and how long the candle is left burning in each session.

Does it need trimming between burns?

Yes. Trim the wick to 5-8mm before each lighting to maintain a clean flame and prevent excess smoke. Allow the wax to cool fully before trimming to avoid damaging the wick base.
