Description

The Lena is a two-light table lamp built around a mouth-blown blue glass base with a spiral twist cut into the surface, topped with a polished nickel collar and an off-white satin fabric shade. The base houses one E27 lamp socket rated to 60W, while a second fitting illuminates the shade independently. A 3-way switch on the lamp allows the user to light the shade alone, the base alone, or both together.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and reading corners where both task and ambient lighting are needed, the dual-lamp configuration provides functional flexibility. Lighting the shade alone gives diffused downward task light suitable for reading or close work. Lighting the base alone turns the blue glass into an ambient decorative glow. Lighting both together provides combined ambient and task illumination. The spiral twist in the glass refracts light across the surface when the base lamp is switched on, creating depth and movement.

The off-white satin shade measures 460mm across the bottom and is lined with matt silver laminate, which reflects light back through the fabric for a softer, more diffused output than an unlined shade. The shade is hand-made in the UK. The glass base stands 440mm tall before the shade is fitted, with a 247mm footprint at the bottom, giving the lamp a total height of 740mm including the shade.
