Description

At 77cm from top to bottom, our Short version of this wall light keeps a compact footprint while still giving you a clear vertical line of light. It projects just 15.2cm from the wall and measures only 8cm across, so we find it slots neatly beside a doorway, along a hallway or over a reading spot without crowding the space around it. A single glass tube is held between two fittings on a curved arm that reaches out from the wall, and it is this open form, rather than any solid shade, that gives the piece its light, airy look.

The finish here is polished steel, a bright reflective surface that picks up the light around it and keeps the whole fitting feeling clean and current. Steel forms the arm and the fittings, while the glass tube and PMMA components carry the light itself. At 1.8kg the Short version is easy for us to handle and quick to fix in place, and we reckon most people will have it mounted and wired in around 20 minutes. We have kept the shape simple on purpose, so it reads well on its own or in a pair either side of a mirror or bed.

This wall light takes one GU10 bulb rated to a maximum of 15W LED, which we do not include, so you can pick the warmth and brightness that suits your room. It is also compatible with our Focused Idea bulb, sold separately, if you want a matched look across our lighting. Please note this fitting is intended for indoor use only. If you would like the taller proportions, the Long version stands 94cm and gives you a longer reach across the wall, should that better suit the space you have in mind.
